MUSIC AND ARTS

PARTICIPANTS

a. Participants must be 13 - 16 years of age
b. Maximum team for each school : 1
c. Team members : 8 - 10 

ANIMATION

a. Originality of work done for the task is expected
b. Duration of video : 3 - 5 minutes
c. Must be in English
d. Must be animated accordingly to specified theme : Towards Universal Peace and Prosperity
e. The video will be presented on the first part of presentation
f. The video along with a screen recording of GarageBand arrangement below the video will be presented on second part of the presentation
g. Marks will be deducted if storyline contains : 
i. Political issues
ii. Inappropriate content
iii. Harsh languages
iv. Violence
v. Failure to submit at the specified time and date

THEME

Towards Universal Peace and Prosperity. However, it will divided into 5 parts:
1. Pandemic
2.  Youth Development
3. Education 
4. Biodiversity Sustainable Management
5. Freedom of Speech
Each team will be assigned randomly to one of the parts respectively

SOFTWARE

a. Device must be updated to the latest IOS
b. Needed aplications are:
i. GarageBand
ii. iMovie
iii. Videoleap
c. Participants are allowed to use other applications 

EXPLORE RACE

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. A briefing session will be held one week before the actual event.
2. Participants ought to have a stable and robust internet connection to prevent unseen 
outcomes or problems for smooth gameplay.
3. Participants must join a group of 3 and not more or less and no changing player.
4. All participants require the latest version of MCPE
5. The team that acquires the highest point wins
6. The participants need to complete all the task in the given time
7. The use of inappropriate language is prohibited during the event
8. Violation of the above rules by participants will result in deduction of point or 
disqualified

YOULEAD

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Each team is given 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for QnA
2. The bell will rung once in the 14th minute mark and the bell will rung twice at the 15th minute mark to signal that the presentation has ended. 
3. If the participants haven't finished their presentation at the 15th minutes the participants will 
4. Be given extra 30 seconds to end their speech, if they exceed the 30 seconds extra time, the bell will ring continously and the judges have the rights to deduct marks. 
5. Use of inappropriate language is strictly prohibited during the presentation. 
6. The presenter is forbidden to talk sensitive issues pertaining to religion, race and culture or any forms of harassment. 
7. During QnA session, other teams and the judges are encourage to propose questions. The questions must not contain offensive items towards the presenter. 
8. The team that is asking the questions during the QnA sessions will need to ask two questions, if not the judges will deduct marks. 
9. Each team is required to provide their own materials using 
pages in the form of ePub.
10. Participants are encouraged to use their creativity such as 
keynote, GarageBand and sketches. The marks will be added in infographics. 
11. The originality of the presentation material is compulsory for each team. 
12. Violation of above rules by participants will result in deduction of marks 
13. Uses of electronic gadgets such as iPad and laptops are allowed. 

I-CODING

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Each participant uses a stable internet network
2. Number of 2 or 3 participants from the student body and a mentor from the teacher user
3. Briefing will be given during the competition
4. The number of teams that participated is unlimited
5. Information must use presentation in the form of augmented reality
6. Each team must get their respective slide presentations
7. Each team must make a video tutorial on how the robot works
8. Projects must has connection with themes that is ‘Robot for Sustainable’
9. The total time allotted is 10-15 minutes with a question and answer session
10. The use of abusive language is not necessary at all 
11. Presentation must be in English
12. Role violations will lose marks or qualifications

E-Pilot

1. All teams must have a stable internet connection
2. Participants will be briefed two weeks and a day before
3. Obstacles illustration will be sent to each team three weeks before the actual day of qualification round
4.The drone will fly autonomously
5. Participants will send their drone coding during the event via email
6. Participants must use DRONEBLOCK programming language to code
7. A meeting room will be created so that the participants can watch how their drone fly
8. If the drone falls during their turn, their drone will turn to the take-off point and start again
9. All drone will take off at the same point and land on the landing
10.Teams with the highest point win the competition.
11. All teams must go through all the obstacles

LINE FOLLOWER

1. All teams must have a stable internet connection throughout the event.
2. Only 20 teams for the qualifying round and 10 teams will be selected as finalists for iCoding Confex 2021.
3. Online briefing will be held two weeks before the competition.
4. The qualifying round will be held a week before the competition.
5. Only the 20 fastest teams that register through the Google Form provided will participate in this competition.
6. Participants must use the SCRATCH programming language to create robot code.
7. The robot used is MBOT
8. Participants will send their robot code during the contest via email.
9. The robot will move without control (autonomy).
10. All robots will take off at the starting point and end at the same place.
11. If the robot is stuck and does not move, the robot will be returned to where the robot took off and the opportunity given is only three times.
12. Each team must go through all the obstacles provided.
13. The team with the highest points with the fastest time record will win this competition.
14. Each team only has three attempts in 5 minutes to complete all the obstacles 
provided.
